My love for photography began more than 10 years ago in high school, when I first picked up a film camera. I started by photographing landscapes and intimate, everyday objects, learning to slow down and really observe the world around me. I even learned how to develop my own negatives — and somewhere in that process, I completely fell in love with photography. The following year, I transitioned into digital photography and began exploring portraiture, often photographing my friends for school assignments. After high school, I continued primarily shooting Canon and began photographing family portraits before taking a position at JCPenney Portraits. There, I had the opportunity to photograph everything from maternity and newborn sessions to family portraits and Christmas card photos.

Those early experiences taught me how to work with all kinds of people, personalities, and moments — and, most importantly, how to create photographs that feel genuine while still providing the direction people need in front of the camera. Over the years, photography grew from something I loved into a career. Today, I photograph weddings with my Nikon D850, bringing more than a decade of experience, a documentary-driven approach, and a genuine love for preserving the moments that make each story unique.

From the big celebrations to the quiet glances happening just outside the frame, I’ll be there to preserve the story of your day as it naturally unfolds.
